The film opens on a colourful and grotesque sculpture the main part modeled on a snail, with a number of caricature figures next to it. Tourists mill around the piece looking at the detail in the work.
A number of bottles are suspended from a line of wire or rope. Someone wielding a stick off-camera smashes one of the bottles and liquid pours out. A brief view follows of other objects suspended on another line.
The view changes to an interior view [quite dark] with two people sitting on a seat with a window just behind them, they appear to be playing cards.
A view outside shows a house covered in leafy vegetation, with flowers and trees nearby, general views follow of the garden. A name is written on a stone or concrete slab near a tree reads: ‘El Rancho’.
A balloon is caught in the branches of a tree; two boys attempt to retrieve it. Eventually, the use of a long branch from another tree frees the balloon.
The film next shows boys walking down some steps, followed by girls and some school staff.
The film cuts to another set of steps as the school party disembark from the rear of an airplane.
A change of location shows a football field and a gathering of pupils and staff from the school. Some are in wheelchairs and many are wearing red sports clothing which is the team colour for Percy Hedley School. Some ride tricycles as others sit and wait on the grass. Most of the athletes wear number on their backs, or on the back of wheelchairs.
One of the athletes practices putting a shot from his wheelchair, with a supervisor nearby. He attempts the shot again. The film ends with a general view showing an open field with modern buildings nearby. The training may have been filmed at the National Games at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Aylesbury.
