An appeals film produced by BBC North East and Cumbria for and about the Percy Hedley School in Newcastle upon Tyne featuring commentary by reporter Frank Bough.
In a workshop at the Percy Hedley Centre and School, a number of disabled young adults are making metal coat hangers. In another part of the workshop, someone is folding boxes while at a bench one young man is sanding a charity box while beside him another young man is applying a lacquer with a brush.

Back in the workshop, a young man is stacking the completed coat hangers on a rack while nearby a label has been applied to the charity box seen being lacquered earlier which reads ‘Percy Hedley School and Clinic for Spastic Children, Newcastle upon Tyne’.
