Title - 1974 Holiday
The film begins with a red sunset over Whitby, and the couple visit Flamingo Land, with elephants, rhinos, llamas, buffalo, lions, tigers, leopards and many other animals. They then visit the waterfalls at Aysgarth and Hawes, showing the waterfalls in close up. They continue their journey driving through the Yorkshire Dales, visiting Uldale Force, where people look down from the top. Then on to Cote Gill Waterfall and a place with a sign for Heathcliff where there is a village with a church. Mrs Dickinson walks on the moors looking at the horses and bullocks.
They continue driving through the Dales, stopping off to visit villages and country houses. They stop at Knaresborough where Mrs Dickinson poses with the river behind her. They visit Chatsworth House in Derbyshire, before going to Buttertubs Pass where there are many people walking across the rocks.
There is then more countryside a visit to another village that has small terraced houses, a church and cobbled streets. Back to Aysgarth falls then to a field where horses and cows feeding are shown. Film then moves onto the Lake District where there are extensive views of the lakes and surrounding hills, and they visit Grassington. They film from the car as they drive along and past several lakes. They then stop to have a picnic, and during which time, film one another near a very large tree. After another visit to a country house with a landscaped garden there are final views of the city of York.
