The film opens with the newlywed couple in their garden with other wedding guests. They all pose for photographs. A woman throws confetti over the newlyweds as they stand hand in hand. A close up shows the groom kisses the bride. The couple walk through the garden followed by the other guests. A man at the back of the group walks towards the camera with a small hand winding cine camera in his hands. The group then pose again before heading into the house. Inside there is a table with buffet food and wedding cake, with another table with drink to one side. The guests stand and sit chatting, sitting together. They take their food and drink out into the garden. Inside the couple's house the film shows their collection of books and records with the York symbol. Inside one room Mrs Dickinson shows a large cabinet displaying an impressive collection of Rowntree's Chocolate memorabilia. There are also posters and prints lining the wall of the study where the family relax with their cats. The film does a tour of the house, showing the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, and finishing with a view down onto the garden from above.
