There is a large sign for `Conisbrough Castle, ancient monument', and behind it the castle is visible. There are shots of the fields around it and some shots of the trees taken from the ground looking up. There is a sign for `Cadeby Colliery' and then a shot of the buildings to the right of it. The camera pans around to take in the metal structures that lowered the cage into the mines as well as the other structures. A small train drives along a track beside the colliery and then there are more shots of the buildings.
