Title-It didn't fade away.
Shot of a map with a hand circling a specific area in Wales.
A man walks up to a train engine and puts two lamps on the front and a sign which reads `Dolgoch and Abergynowyn only'. He then puts coal into the fire, oils the wheels and cleans the windows.
The engine, which is called `Edward Thomas', is on the tracks, the signal man is checking the signals.
People gather on the platform, and a young boy opens the gates that were across the tracks.
People enter the booking office, and then there are shots of the platform which is crowded with adults and children. Some people sit in the closed carriages while the rest sit on the open seats.
The train passes through the countryside, through trees and past various stations. At one stage the driver gets out onto the grass at the side of the track to put out a fire. They continue on and pass `Brynglas Station'.
Cyril's car is being driven across the train tracks. The car doesn't make it all the way across.
As the train can be seen coming down the tracks, Cyril tries to start his car as he has a look if horror on his face. He gets out and tries to push the car, but it doesn't work, so he tries the ignition again. The car starts, and he drives off. Then there is a shot of the train coming down the tracks past the camera. Cyril stands beside his car wiping his face with a handkerchief.
Passengers mill about on a platform. They then get onto the train which drives off again and crosses a bridge.
There is a sign for `Dolcoch for the falls' and the driver refills the train engine with water from a hose.
Passengers disembark the train and others get on.
Title-The End of the road.
