Made by Betty and Cyril Ramsden, this film shows the village of Coxwold where a hunt takes place. The couple were semi-professional filmmakers filming both for pleasure and taking on commissions from companies such as the Yorkshire Evening Post. Title-York and Ainsty meet at Coxwold. The film opens in the village of Coxwold, Yorkshire. It is autumn and the trees leaves have all turned brown. The local inn, the Fauconberg Arms, is in the middle of a row of cottages and is the focal point for people to meet. Horseboxes pull up, and riders and villagers stand around and chat to one another. The riders wear traditional hunting attire. Small drinks are handed out to the participants of the hunt. The hunt's master is seen in the middle of the group, mounted on his horse. Many hounds are now in the area. There are two children on ponies. The group of horse and hounds then set off through the village, down a country road, and finally turn onto a field. The hunt begins, and the hounds run off leading the way. The film closes as the riders race along the brow of a hill. Title-The End
