The film opens with Cyril going into the entrance of a zoo.

A polar bears moves around in a cage. Another brown bear then stands up on its hind legs.
Title-In evening wear we take the air.
Penguins swim in a pool together. Some of them walk in a line across a bridge that goes over the pool. A zookeeper then throws fish that they chase, catch and eat. They then swim in together in the pool.
Title-A pretty pass one snake-no grass.
A long snake moves along a stony floor. Cyril walks through another part of the zoo with all his camera equipment.
