The film opens with Cyril going into the entrance of a zoo. Title-Fur coats were worn where we were born. A polar bears moves around in a cage. Another brown bear then stands up on its hind legs. Title-In evening wear we take the air. Penguins swim in a pool together. Some of them walk in a line across a bridge that goes over the pool. A zookeeper then throws fish that they chase, catch and eat. They then swim in together in the pool. Title-A pretty pass one snake-no grass. A long snake moves along a stony floor. Cyril walks through another part of the zoo with all his camera equipment. Title-My name is Rota, this is my phota! A lion paces up and down in a cage and in front of a crowd of visitors that look through the bars. Title-No propaganda needed for the Panda. A panda lies in a cage and eats bamboo shoots. The next scene is in the children's zoo. There are shots of the children in pens, petting and stroking the goats and horses. Title-I think the Flamingo Is lovely by Jingo! Shots of monkeys wandering around a cage and a mother and her baby play together. Title-My daily dish. No chips-just fish. Seals swim about in a pool which is surrounded by rocks. One of the seals climbs onto some rocks, and a zookeeper throws some fish to it.
