There is a brief shot of the countryside. The tour bus is parked outside of a stone building (possibly an old church) and the girls get off the bus. They wait and collect their bags as well before making their way inside. The girls then leave the building and start exploring the town. They stop near a graveyard for lunch in the sunshine. The girls play a game in a field and then make their way into town. Here, they are spectators at a race, and a large group of spectators have gathered to watch the runners. The runners make their way over the hills, and there is scenic footage of the surrounding countryside.

There is a stream flowing down the hill, and a little girl makes her way over a bridge. There are a few ducks nearby, and the girls stop for a rest, sitting near the water's edge. Next, there is footage of the girl's accommodation including the kitchen and the dining hall. The girls are seated at a number of long tables to eat their meal before helping to wash up.
Another day out, and the Brownies venture out towards the countryside. They play different games in a field including jumping rope.
It is time for the return to York, and the Brownies' bus can be seen driving down a road. The girls' parents are waiting for them, and many of them are greeted with hugs and kisses. There are shots of many of the different families who are gathered, and the film closes with a shot of a stuffed bear and owl.
