A road in France, filmed from inside a moving car. The car travels under a bridge and other cars pass by. There are fields and trees at the side of the road.
A hill with huge rocks laying at the bottom. A small road runs along the bottom of the hill and appears to wind its way amongst the hills. Some people climb the rocks.
Back in the car, driving along a small and windy mountainside road. There is a big drop to the right of the car and hills to the left. As it makes its way down this road another car overtakes.
A car is parked just off the road and there are people having a picnic.
The car continues to drive along the road and passes a white sign on the right amidst some trees. The sign reads "Savitons". The car drives along a tree-lined road. Cars pass travelling in the opposite direction and a sign indicates a crossroad.
Ornamental dogs, Snow White and Dwarf, pigs, cats, cockerels and lions behind a fence in front of a shop. Piles of porcelain sinks and ornamental chickens lined up in a yard.
Dora stands near a table and swinging garden chair on a balcony. Dolly and Phil sit at the table with their breakfast. Dolly and Dora are wearing their nightdresses, Phil reads a newspaper and smokes. There are croissants on the table with a teapot, milk and sugar. Dora has a croissant on her plate, and a cup of tea. She sits down.
View of the town from a balcony in the hotel. A church spire, rooftops of flats and shanty-style buildings and the sea.
Phil and Dora sit on the swinging chair, Dolly sits on a deckchair. Phil pretends to give Dolly some paper money but doesn't let her take them. All three talk and laugh.
Phil, Dolly and Dora stand on the balcony overlooking the town. Phil points to something and they talk.
A small harbour with lots of fishing boats. The sun is reflected in the sea. There are hills in the background and people walking along the sea front.
Phil, smoking a pipe, and Dolly stand in the window of their hotel room with their arms linked. They are looking at the view and Dolly points to something.
Dolly, Dora and Phil stand on the grass with the Batitistero and the Camposanto in the background. Dora takes a picture of something behind the cine camera. Dora, Dolly and Phil walk past the Torre Di Pisa ('Leaning Tower of Pisa') the Duomo is on their left. This is what Dora photographed. Shot of the tower, and the camera tilts making it appear as though it is falling over. Dolly and Dora walk towards the Duomo where there are large crowds. Dora and Dolly stand on the pavement next to the cathedral.
Ther group are in a market - apparantly wanting to talk to a policeman but another woman is having an animated discussion with him. They wait to cross at a zebra crossing. A car pulls up to the junction and they cross behind it, and as they do, they walk towards the camera and Dora sticks out her tongue.
Dora, Dolly and Phil walk along the side of a road as a stall takes up the pavement. There is a three wheeled car in the background.
The sea and cliffs in the background. A path zig-zags its way up the cliff and there are cultivated fields alongside. Waves roll onto the beach. People swim in the sea. There are white hotels and buildings on the seafront. Small white and blue, and red and white beach huts line the beach and a stone jetty is in the foreground.
Dora and Dolly stand on the balcony of a building, overlooking the cliffs and sea. Over the edge of the balcony, Phil sits a table on the veranda below. He looks up at the camera. Crowds in the swimming pool, which is surrounded by trees and shrubs. Villas and hotels surround the complex. There is sheltered parking just outside the hotel.
Vvarious road signs filmed from the car read: "Safron", "Triplex", "Campari", "Motta Caramelle Crackers Cioccolato"
There are fields either side of the road.
A fast-flowing river under a bridge. On top of the bridge stand Dora, Dolly and Phil, leaning against the railings. They stand next to a building with "Feronica" written on it. Higher up the building, adjacent with the first floor windows another sign reads - "Ecolee Primairee V2. Doct. Baraino".
The hills that surround the town provide a backdrop for the buildings. Views of the town and river. A mouse it scurries on the rocks.
Buildings alongside the road as the car drives past. The Alps are directly ahead. A sign at the side of the road reads "MOTEL ALP" with lots of flags flying above it. As the road climbs a little higher, the car passes through a town and the Alps can still be seen in the background.
A very tall hill, covered in trees is to the left of the road as they drive past. A waterfall cascades down the side of the hill and runs under the road. There is a dam in between two hills, in the 'V' of a valley, and behind that are the snow-capped mountains of the Alps.
Parked at the side of the road Dora, Dolly and Phil look at a town below, at the bottom of the valley and surrounded by hills.
Dolly and Phil sit at a table on the harbourside of a small town/village. A sign behind them reads - "Ponton Prive". Phil reads whilst Dolly looks out across the harbour. An Italian and Swiss flag blow in the wind. A swiss chalet style building with wood cladding and a wooden veranda.
