Title - Running flush.
The film opens with a gang of men wearing hats, suits and slacks, all seated around a table and playing cards in a lockup. The table has many beers on it, and in the background there is a chalkboard with an architectural plan of a building. The boss, in a sharp suit, walks around talking to them while he smokes a cigarette. A man sets down his cards and leaves, before the boss then walks to the chalkboard and jabs his finger at various parts of the building. A shot of the board reveals words 'Chemist' and 'Layby', which label different areas of the outline.
One of the gang members walks down a street lined with parked cars, checking to see if any of them are unlocked. He finds one car that is unlocked, with the keys in the ignition, and drives off with it. Back at the lock up, the gang are still going over the plan, and the car thief arrives to tell them the car is here.
From the car, the camera captures as the gang pull up outside a chemist, and there is a sign in the window which reads 'Chemist - D.G. Gaskell'. They talk in the car for a moment before exiting, and quickly walk round to the back of the shop, where one of the gang members picks a lock to gain entry.
Now inside the chemist, two gang members force open a metal gate, while the other man waits outside keeping watch. Once the gate is opened, they go inside a room with many pill bottles. They spot the safe and try and crack it, but are distracted by a ringing phone.
Eventually safe door is opened and they hastily return to the lockup, where the boss paces around the room impatiently. The gang return with their loot, which turns out to be toilet paper. The boss runs to the toilet, and film ends with a shot of the bathroom door with the letters falling from their position.
Title - The end.
