Title - the 4th dimension A man wearing a suit sits on a sofa reading a newspaper, he gets up and says goodbye to his wife before exiting the house. Outside, he greets a neighbour and then takes a walk through some fields. The man returns home to find that his son doesn't recognize him, and the young boy runs inside, scared. The boy returns with the man's wife, who doesn't know who he is either, and this is because he has entered a new dimension. The wife has a new husband, who asks the original man to leave and pushes him away, and for some reason the new man has a button in his hand. The neighbour from before turns up to see what's going on. Talking to the new husband, the neighbour tries to get the main protagonist to leave, before the original husband pushes the neighbour to the floor. The new husband and the neighbour chase him across a field, where he stumbles and falls. Suddenly a flash occurs and the men disappear. The original man gets up and catches his breath by a tree. Running home, the man crosses a road and is hit by a car. His wife, who now recognises him, watches in horror from the window. The man lies in the road surrounded by his family and their neighbours. The final shot shows a coat being laid over him and the film fades out. Title - the end.
