Title - The Queen in Yorkshire The Queen and Prince Philip arrive by train in North Yorkshire and are greeted by Sir William Worsley. She then is off for an inspection of the Guard of Honour at Catterick Camp. Following the inspection, she makes an informal call on the home quarters of some of the senior ranking commanders. The tour of the camp takes the Royal couple past a line of tanks, and one of the commanders shows the Queen some of the teaching techniques used in order to train soldiers to drive tanks. This is followed by a demonstration of troops training on an obstacle course. Finally, the Queen looks down from atop a platform into the inside of a tank. One of the solders holds an umbrella over her. It is the 100th anniversary of the Great Yorkshire Show which takes place in Harrogate. A record number of 2000 livestock have been entered. The Queen and Prince Philip are greeted in the main arena, and they also pay tribute to the Canadian Mounties.
