This is an unfinished film made up of various bits of footage of Bradford's trolleybuses at the time of their ending in 1972. It shows the trolleybuses running in Bradford and has an interview with an elderly ex-bus driver (on separate magnetic track). It complements the film, Bradford's Last Trolley Bus (2628).
The film opens with a view down a street with trolley buses and cars. In the bus garage a mechanic fixes something on a bus. There follows a series of photographs of old buses, starting with a single decker. An elderly ex-bus driver stands in front of a derelict old trolley bus and recounts the early days of the trolley buses, pointing to the old type of wheels before air pressure rubber tyres arrived in 1925 to make the journey much more comfortable. A trolley bus is shown being hooked onto the overhead cables, and then the lines being dismantled and cut up. An overhead repair vehicle arrives and helps in cutting down the lines. There are rows of trolley buses ready for scrapping. There is more filming of trolley buses, including the No. 7 and no. 8., going to the city centre. One bus turns around in front of 'Steal and Simpson'. Another bus, with an Asian driver, goes outside of Bradford, followed by a No. 7 going into the city centre. A bus is re-hooked up the overhead line and the film comes to an end.
