The procession continues with: people dressed as Roman soldiers and Roman citizens, people dressed as cavaliers from the English Civil War, a brass band, a York Parks and Gardens float covered in flowers, Vikings with a long boat, a Northern Dairies 'Swing to the 70s' float with dancing girls, a float with people dressed as Elizabethans eating a banquet, a giant pram filled with waving children, a Salvation Army marching band and, finally, an old steam roller.
