This well shot film chronicles family events and travels which take place from 1983-1985.
The film opens as the groom carries the bride through the car park and to a garden for wedding photos. The wedding party are all gathered together and pose for the pictures. Following this is footage of the wedding reception. The newlyweds pose by the tiered wedding cake before ceremoniously cutting the cake. The film opens as the groom carries the bride through the car park and to a garden for wedding photos. The wedding party are all gathered together and pose for the pictures. Following this is footage of the wedding reception. The newlyweds pose by the tiered wedding cake before ceremoniously cutting the cake. The reception is in full swing, and people smile for the camera as it passes by. After the reception, there is a heavily decorated mini metro ready for the happy couple's honeymoon.
The next part of the film features an airplane hangar where there are many Royal Navy and Air Force planes. This is followed by shots of the seaside and a hotel pool and bar filmed from a hotel room balcony. There are scenic shots of the surrounding area, possibly somewhere in the Mediterranean. The sun shines bright, and the harbour is full of boats.
A Brownie and Teddy Bear picnic is held at a school. They are all gathered outside. The girls are dressed up and having fun on a sunny day. They skip and dance around the playing field.
There is a brief scene of a boat trip and gardens in full bloom. There is a brass band playing in the gardens. This is followed scenes of a caravan park.
The next scene features another couple just after they've been married. This time a traditional horse and carriage is used to transport the couple to their reception which is held in a marquee. Members of the wedding party pose for pictures, and the newlyweds can be seen cutting the large wedding cake.
The filmmaker has taken a trip to Turkey. Many different sites can be seen including a trip to a beach. The busy cities are full of people and traffic.
There is a brief shot of a man standing in his living room where he is looking at a television. Following this is footage of another wedding. The wedding party pose outside of the church for pictures before heading to the reception which takes place in the church hall.
The film closes with another boat trip to an unknown European city. There is a bridge which is lined with modern statues on either side.
