An opening long shot shows the children board a coach at the school before the camera takes in views of the open road before they hit the destination of York.  We see in long shots the children go around the city, the camera taking in many of the famous landmarks such as the York Minister Cathedral, The Shambles- a medieval street, the City Walls and Lendal Bridge.  A boat trip finishes their day, and we see views of the different buildings that line the river in the city centre. A trip to Manchester takes in views that include the airport, zoo and surrounding countryside.
