A man in a suit walks around many of the cars inspecting them.
The following scene is from the point-of-view of the driver and the car drives along a road and into another car park. A man stands beside one of the cars in the car park; he is drinking from a bottle.
There are shots of the car trials getting underway. A group of classic cars are individually put through their paces by driving in and out of poles and cones, around tight turns and reversing neatly into spaces.
Some people stand outside of the hotel chatting and looking at the cars.

The opening shot is taken from beside a wall overlooking the sea; the large rock outcrop some distance away and the cliffs all around are visible in this shot. The camera pans around to show a house on the top of one of the cliffs.
There are shots of pier area; crab cages are strewn about on the wharf, there are shots of some run-down houses nearby and a boat called `Lively Hope' anchored in the jetty. A man walks along the pier beside some boat sheds.
There is a shot of a leaflet which reads `St. Abbs Harbour'. This is followed by shots of the harbour with small fishing boats and hills visible in the background
The next scene opens in the front garden of a house; there are lots of flowers, plants and trees. A man stands beside his car which appears to be parked in this garden area as well as some tents which have been pitched.
In another scene a car is driving along a country road and then it stops.
There are lots of shots taken from around a village. There are people walking along the streets, eating takeaway and then they drive to see some ruins.
There are shots taken from the point-of-view of the driver as the car goes over a big bridge, and then it cuts to a few men are standing beside another man as he fills the car with petrol.
The final scene is set in a park with lots of multi-coloured flowers; some people can be seen walking around.
The cars move off before the film cuts to similar scenes at Paxton and Croft Autodrome.
The next piece of film opens with a shot of a sign which reads `Croft Autodrome.'
After this is a shot of the car which is parked at the side of a road; several cars which look like they are from the 1940s drive along and park behind the car with the camera.
In the next scene there are shots of the cars all lined up neatly in rows along an old landing strip. Car owners clean, polish and fix parts of their cars and spectators wander around watching and talking to the car experts.
