Title-National Jowett Weekend, Holker Hall, Cumbria, 5th and 6th June 1982.
The film opens with a shot of the `Programme of Events' on `Friday 4th June'.
There is a shot of a sign for trips on steam trains and then a panning shot of a lakeside area.
There is a boat out on the lake; it is coming closer to the shore. Once it reaches the dock, a man on board ties rope round a pillar to steady it.
In the next scene a steam train is coming into a station; the platform is full of people waiting to board it. The train driver stands around talking to another train worker as a new engine is attached and then the train is off.
In another scene a group of men erect a large tent in a field; they hammer in the poles and then several of them haul the canvas up. There are other shots of trailers, tent poles and some children who are helping.
There is another shot of a programme of events and this quickly cuts to shot of caravans and awnings being up; people stand around in summer shorts and t-shirts. There is a brief shot taken from inside the big tent where people are setting up the exhibition tables and setting up stalls.
Another shot of programme of events.
There are many classic cars being driven into the rally grounds and spectators there for the day to look at the cars.
There is the usual timetable of events with men under their cars fixing the final parts before they enter into the competition. There are spectators walking around the rows of classic cars, examining them and talking to the owners. There are also judges with clipboards examining the cars.
There are shots from inside of the tent where there are car parts on show, more car owners to talk to.
In the following scene the action is back outside at the car trials which are getting under way.
