The cars were first built in 1906 by a small engineering firm based in Bradford owned by brothers William and Benjamin Jowett, in 1954 production stopped but these classic cars have not disappeared as they have been entered in both national and international car rallies, many such as this club rally taking place in Yorkshire.
The film opens in the exhibition field and there are close-up shots of a man standing around inspecting several car engines.
The scene changes to show how many people have arrived at the event. The men and women walk around looking at the cars, they talk to the owners and watch as some of them repair car parts.

Place jack under bottom suspension, slacken wheel, jack up remove wheel and put down behind car walk round car once. Pick up and refit wheel, lower jack and tighten nuts, withdraw jack. NOTE. Wheel nuts will be pre-set at 25lb ft. for each competitor. The competitor to do it in the shortest time wins the prize.
There are several shots of a man changing a wheel and then shots of another man who also takes part.
Following this are long shots which capture the judges inspecting the cars and taking notes. Then the car tests begin and the drivers perform different manoeuvres with their cars, such as controlled reverse driving, proving that even if the cars are old in years they are kept in perfect working order. The next few shots show the winning drivers receiving their trophies
In the final few shots some car owners work under their cars, then there are shots of more of the car trials, a results page and then of the visitors leaving the rally.
