This film was made by an amateur filmmaker who was a farmer from Reighton, near Filey, North Yorkshire. The film features a river party with a new boat on display and a family wedding.
The film opens with close ups of a small boat named "Marton." Many people are gathered by the water for the day, and there is good footage which shows the people at the event socialising.
Following this are scenes of the wedding showing the guests and bridal party arriving at the church. The bridal party is dressed in lavender dresses and white hats. The bride and her father arrive at the church after the guests. It is a windy day, and her veil can be seen blowing in the wind as she waits at the front of the church. After the ceremony, the bride, groom, and wedding party gather at the entrance of the church for pictures. Again, the wind blows the bride's veil.
The final scene features many of the wedding guests as well as the wedding party posing for pictures on the surrounding church grounds.
