The first shots are of an excavated site, possibly a canal dredging, at Welburn. There are shots of the large Drax Power Station including the steam towers. Footage is taken of the Ramblers as they make their way on their walk, the power station being seen in the background.
The next scene is of Castle Howard, with shots of the exterior of the building. There is frost and snow on the ground, and the peacocks which roam the grounds can also be seen. The Ramblers top to have their lunch on the steps of Castle Howard. This is followed by footage of the formal gardens as well as the grounds and the architectural features, including the Folly.
