There are shots of the Ramblers setting off from the car park at Bolton Abbey. There is a thick frost and layers of snow on the ground. This portion of the film is made up of scenic countryside views as well as shots of the walkers as they make their way across the moorland. They stop briefly at Beech House Farm where there are shots of Langbar Ayrshire cattle. There are signs for: Public Bridleway Langbar, Public Footpath Dalesway, Public Footpath Beamsley. This is followed by more footage of the Ramblers on their journey, climbing gates into open fields.

The walk begins at a church. There is a very large group of Ramblers assembled, all dressed in walking gear. The car park is full of cars including Minis, Marinas and Rovers. The large group set off in the sunshine through a field of sheep. They cross a river via stepping stones. The camera captures all the walkers from the front, as they walk past. By a church and a dry stone wall, the group stop to eat their lunch in the sun. There is a sign to Farnley followed by a sign for a Game Reserve. Next are shots of daffodils by the footpath as the group enter Leathley.
Title - Rothwell Footpath Group Tenth Anniversary Walk 4/5/80 with Grenville
It is the 10th anniversary walk of the Rothwell Ramblers. Members gather to begin their walk and make their way out into the field and across fences. One of the leaders holds up a 10 year certificate from the Ramblers Association, and all the members pose for a picture. The group continues on their way, stopping for lunch, and then later heading for the Mexborough Arms which sells Websters beer.
