The film takes us through the proposed route of the motorway showing the problems planners face. There are interviews with those who are for and against the scheme including the Chief Executive of Bradford Metropolitan City Council who is for the scheme, and Paul Hockney, District Councillor who is against. There are also interviews with a member of the Aire Valley Preservation Society and a student at Bradford University who is undertaking research for his thesis on the proposed scheme.
The film takes us through the various problem areas in the proposed route of the motorway including two Schools which will face closure, Salt Grammar School and Beckworth Grammar School. The village of Steeton, Shipley Glen, Bingley Gorge and Stocksbridge, Keighley will also be affected. The Airdale General Hospital will have the motorway right outside its windows.
