This is followed by scenes from the North Bay where there is a waffle shop on the seafront which can be seen as well as Jaconelli's ice cream parlour. The family takes a journey on a miniature railway, and the filmmaker captures the scenic views from the area. Finally the boy rides in a rowboat in Peasholme Park before going onto the Pirate Ship. In Whitby, the boy rides on a donkey. People are seated in deck chairs all along the beach. There is also a Punch and Judy show which takes place. As the family walks around the harbour, many fishing and pleasure boats can be seen.
