Exteriors of St Mary Magdalene Church, inside various displays of flowers adore the church including a bouquet from the nearby Medomsley Detention Centre. Beside a display in the church font a mannequin dressed in a red cassock. In another part of the church a number of mannequins in Tudor outfits.
Members of the Boy’s Brigade lead a procession marching along Manor Road towards the war memorial outside the parish church. Behind follow other youths some in Girl Guide or Brownie uniforms as well as a number of adults.
Everyone begins the congregate around the memorial including the vicar. Two men lay wreaths after which three members of the Boy’s Bridge march away carrying their standard, they are followed by the Brownies also carrying a standard. A crowd stands along the path beside the church chatting.
The film ends back inside the church and a number of wedding dresses on display beside tables of wedding paraphernalia as well as more displays of flowers.
