A woman followed by two men stand against the stone wall chatting with the person behind the camera, nearby an older woman stands at her front gate. An older child lifts a youngster onto his shoulder. The man and child walk across a field towards a car changes to show a number of bungalow or low buildings. The child sits playing at the wheel of a tractor. [Black & White] Competitors take part in the Travers Trophies come around a bush and along a track, all have numbers of their backs. At another part of the course a crowd lining the track watches as one rider falls off his motorbike, others ride past him. Motorbikes drive across rough bump ground and then a field watched by crowds lining their route. Riders come around a hillock and speed passing crowds standing behind a barrier. A number of competitors comes up a steep rocky track with one coming to a stop. More riders cross a rocky stream and up a steep embankment. At the top of snowy hillside, a crowd watch a competitor rides carefully along a rocky steam to reach the top. More riders follow, some not making it to the top coming to a stop. The film ends with competitors riding through a fast-flowing stream watched by crowds along the banks.
