At Blackhall railway station the troops are loaded onto a train heading, it is believed, to a training camp at Tow Law. Locals watch nearby as their loved ones leave. From the back of a horse-cart views of the town and people of Consett. The regiment featured is possibly the Durham Light Infantry, 6th Battalion.
