Sitting at tables against a wall a number of women raise their drinks at the camera. They chat amongst themselves, some smoke cigarettes. An older man comes over and joins one of the tables. On a dancefloor the women dance together, a couple dance with men.
Back at their tables they all continue to drink and chat, two women hug each other laughing happily. Another woman drunkenly slumps herself on the shoulder of her friend. They both appear to be singing. A number of women at one table all light and start smoking cigarettes.
From behind the bar a barman comes over to collect empty glasses. More drinks are consumed as woman begins to dance, her friends clapping along with her. More women join in and start clapping and waving their hands in the air, some of the few men look in confusingly. The women form a conga line and dance around the room.
An older woman sits with her husband while the others dance many now accompanied by some of the men. Couples now dance together intimately, a group of men sit around a table chatting.
Men and women now sit together around the room drinking and chatting. One man pulls faces gurning for the camera. He tries to drink a sip of beer still pulling faces.
On stage a band performs as those in the club dance along to the music. A woman holds and sings into a microphone. The film ends on a series of knees dancing on the dancefloor, the men have rolled up their trousers while the women have lifted their dresses some showing stocking and suspenders. A little girl dances amongst the legs.
