A short amateur film produced by Joe Clark about Victoria dolls. The film shows a woman working assembling and dressing one from pieces laid out on a table in front of her. The final part of the film shows examples of the woman’s work. Title: Dolls of Yesterday A woman sits at a table looking though a collection of magazines and books to do with historic dolls and doll houses. Laid out on the table various pieces of a doll. The woman begins to threat arms and legs to the thorax, a number of dolls heads and faces are laid out on the table. The table is now full of Victorian style dolls clothing, the woman selects a dress and begins to cloth the doll. A number of dolls hats and bonnets are laid out nearby. The dress now on she holds the doll in an upright position using a stand and tries on a number of bonnets until the right one is found. Five other dolls stand on display on a different table, there are close ups of each of the dolls and their costumes. A number of dolls are seated in chairs, the film ends on an animatronic doll with its arms and head moving. End title: The end
