A woman wearing a Union Jack hat comes over with a cake tin and begins offer the content to those on the street. Two small children have their own little race, the crowds continue to stand around chatting happily.
Children take part in a number of egg and spoon race again watched by adults standing and waving from the pavement. Two men also take part in the third and final race.
Another race begins with children jumping along the road with a balloon between their knees. A number of women take part in their own race.

Men take part in another race in which they are blindfolded and walk cautiously along the road, children poke and prod them as they pass.
Two teams of boys take part in a tug-o-war in the middle of the street followed by a relay race including both children and adults. Spectators along the pavement shout on encouragement.
