On Holy Island views around the ruin of Lindisfarne Priory and a small girl doing gymnastics on a piece of grass nearby. She and her mother walks around the site before the girl comes toward the camera and waving.
The statue of St Aidan on Holy Island changes to show Bamburgh Castle across the sea in the distance. Waves lap against the shoreline and a family relaxes in the sand on a small beach.
Waves continue to crash along a rocky shoreline and the film fades to Lindisfarne Castle back on Holy Island in the distance. A flag flies from the roof and visitors walk along the cobbled stone path toward of the castle. The woman and small girl sit on the stone steps, the girl holds up a camera to take a photograph and the woman assists. Visitors walk around the castle entrance, some going inside. From the battlements Bamburgh Castle in the far distance on the mainland and the harbour below.
The statue of St Aidan changes to show more visitors walking around Lindisfarne Priory. The film changes again to the base of Bamburgh Castle and a small memorial to those men of the village killed during World War Two. Various views showing the impressive exterior of the castle with the film ending on the castle in the distance from a road with cars moving along it.
