A car pulls up outside the Tyne Tees Television studio on City Road in Newcastle. The driver gets out and heads for the entrance, but a Concierges standing their stops him pointing at a ‘No Waiting’ road sign nearby. The driver turns, gets back into his car and drives away with the Concierges waving his head disapprovingly. The car re-appears along City Road and pulls up onto the pavement. Once again the driver gets out and this time is able to heads inside, the Concierges scratching his head. The man walks along a corridor and accidently walks into the Ladies toilets. He quickly re-appears and heads into the Gentleman’s next door. From underneath a cubicle appears a puddle of water. He walks into a studio and takes a seat at a control desk, he picks up two telephone receives and tries to have two conversations. He puts one of the receivers down and begins to flick some switches and turning some knobs on the control desk in front of him. A second man wearing a hat enters the studio waving his arms about ordering the man out of the studio angrily. With the first man gone, he takes a seat and begins knitting. The first man comes up a set of stairs into canteen and orders a meal from the woman behind the counter. With his items on a tray, he walks over to a cashier to pay and them to a table. A clock on the wall reads 11.08 as he prepares to eat his meal. Just as he is about to start a phone rings. He gets up to answer it and after speaking into the receiver leaves the canteen heading back downstairs. He comes back into the studio where the man in the hat is still sitting. He quickly put something away into his jacket before pointing at the man who then raises his arm. The film ends with the man in the hat standing and the other man standing in the doorway with his arm in the air.
