The film opens with Newcastle United players coming out onto the pitch at St James Park followed by opposition in orange and black strip; Wolverhampton Wanderers. The crowd in the stand looks out onto the pitch; at the far end supporters wave their arms in the air with some holding black and white scarfs.
Back on the pitch the game continues with the ball coming close to the Newcastle goal just a short distance away from the camera near the touchline. A man in a black and white striped suit and hat walks along the touchline. The crowds nearby look on in expectation followed by more footage of the match.
On the other side of the pitch a Wolves player on the ground awaits a first aider who races towards him. The game starts again with the ball being chased off the pitch near to the camera by a Newcastle player. As the match continues, two people wearing white coats and carrying bags walk along the touchline. Writing on the bags and the back of their coats reads ‘Magpie Shop’. Wolves’ players attempt to score goal, the ball gets kicked into the crowd. Another play for the goal by Wolves in intercepted by the goalkeeper. A Wolves player tackles a Newcastle player near the touchline and a corner is taken twice, the first ball getting kicked into the stands.
A Newcastle player near to the corner and kicks a ball to another player cuts to show a young boy racing onto the pitch at the end of the game. Those in the stand around are jumping and waving their arms in the air. A young man races onto the pitch waving a black and white striped scarf in the air. The film ends with the pitch being invaded by jubilant supporters.
