The second of two amateur films made by Raymond James Paiton of the Northumbrian Motor Club Ashington Car Rally taking place in and around  Northumberland. The film begins on a line of cars taking part in the rally parked along a road followed by them travelling along a track through a wood and up a hill. At a checkpoint an official looks over a vehicles. The final part of the film shows the arrival of cars at the end of the rally and officials taking down information. The film opens on a line of cars parked along a road followed by some of the vehicles driving along a forest track. A man looks at a clipboard. The film cuts to show cars slowly winding uphill along a track followed by an official with a notebook in his hands looking at the tyres of one of the vehicles. [Blank] Along a country road three people stand around a car while along the verge other vehicles, including a Morris Oxford MO are seen parked. A number of other cars pull up along the road and are approached by the three officials. More cars pull up and the officials take down details on a clipboard one of them is carrying. The film ends on a view along the country road along which are parked a line of cars.
