Outside in a field two teams of competitors, one in dark tops the other light, prepare for a of tug-o-war, some digging their heels into the mud, others placing the end of the rope over their shoulders.
Each side takes the strain as the competition begins, and the barrel of Samson is lifted in the air. General views of each side pulling, but those in light tops are stronger pulling those in dark tops into a stream.
Inside a barn one of the winning team puts on a Samson T-shirt while three pints are brought over and passed around. The film cuts to show a man with a camera before the advert ends on a view of both teams posing in front of the barrel, a number of pints of Samson’s arranged around the barrel.
