The film cuts to Grey Street in Newcastle looking towards Grey's Monument and views of bunting, flags and other decorations adorn lampposts and buildings. At the base of the monument more decorations and flowers. Crowns with coloured material hangs down from the statues pillar. General shots of Grey Street showing more decoration. The film cuts to two horses galloping freely in a field. The film changes to show the Swing Bridge in Newcastle slowly opening. Boats sail through on their way along the Tyne. Along a busy bunting decorated street a crowd watch a parade of costumed people march past.  Bagpipers lead the parade past a busy town square (possibly Selkirk in the Scottish borders). Crowds walk along the street and along with some on horseback where the film ends.
