Other views show the ruins of an ancient abbey.  The film cuts to show visitors walking in and around an ornamental garden in the grounds of a castle. Swans on a lake are thrown tit-bits by passers by. The next sequence is a phantom car ride along passing through a number of villages and towns. General views follow of a town centre set on the banks of a wide river. Town and village road signs are filmed including those for Newton Stewart, Gatehouse of Fleet and Kirkcudbright.
