Description Film insert of a visit to a hospital in the North East by Disney characters for Tyne Tees TV news programme Today at Six broadcast on 25 November 1968.
A children’s hospital ward in the North East receives a visit from giant Disney cartoon characters. Cinderella’s mice friends, including Jaq and Gus, twitch their noses for the delighted children patients, lay on the hospital beds and are examined by a child using a stethoscope. One child tests their knee-jerk reflex with a rubber hammer. Another child holds a mouse’s tail as it jogs around the hospital ward.
