Opening views show heavy snow covering the landscape and obscuring features especially roads. The camera pans right to show two women standing near the doorway to a house. The film cuts to  a view of frozen countryside and two figures walking along a frozen path in the distance. Two road signs near to the camera read 'Cattle Grid' and possibly 'Bellingham 12', the 'B & E' obscured. The camera pans right showing snow drifts and snow covered countryside in winter sunshine. General views show more of the winter landscape, of paths and roads blocked with snow and snow covered hills. The film cuts to a road sign which reads 'Halt At Major Road Ahead'. Children play on what seems to be a substantial snow drift in the distance. A woman and three children walk down a snow covered road away from the camera.  The film cuts to a motor race at Ingliston race track at the Royal Highland showground just west of Edinburgh.  Cars speed past on a section of track protected either side by armco barriers. General views follow from the same vantage point of cars going past. A saloon car leads a single car around the track. A Mercedes limousine then goes past presumably with official guests on board. General views follow of a saloon car race with highly tuned Ford Anglias and Mini's, Mini's making up the majority of the field. The film cuts back to conventional racing cars going round the circuit. The film ends as a saloon car heads a field of sports cars on to the circuit as they take part in the next race.
