This film by Ronald Pringle shows a number of water skiing competitions which took place at Lochearnhead, at the western end of Loch Earn in Scotland
Dull weather doesn't put off water skiers and spectators as the contestants go through their paces. The jump element of the competition, where skiers negotiate a high ramp in the water, is enhanced by some slow motion footage. This shows the elaborate manouevres the contestants go through while in mid-air.
