Rounding a corner on the parade route, various regiments, and veterans and marching bands parade through central Newcastle, the street packed with spectators. One banner carried reads “50th Northumberland Division”.
A Royal Navy regiment marches past, in the background Collars Limited and Ernest & Taylor amongst the row of shops. Groups representing units of the Allied and Colonial Forces march in the parade along with military bands.
