A door to door salesman calls at a house in the Newcastle suburbs, probably Gosforth. He displays his wares to the housewife there. His briefcase contains brush samples of every type. The housewife looks suitably unimpressed. He demonstrates a clothes brush on his own suit as she looks at a small household brush. She picks up his empty briefcase, examines it and likes what she sees. He now holds all his brushes for sale in his arms. He leaves the briefcase with the woman – a happy customer – and carries his brush samples on to the next house. Title: The End
