The film begins with Elizabeth and Sir James Knott wearing a sailor hat walking hand-in-hand across the deck of motor yacht Princess. Alone, Sit James turns and walks back towards the camera making a cheeky smile as he passes. He poses against the side of the ship before walking along the deck. Elizabeth re-appears in a new outfit and they walk again hand-in-hand across the deck of the ship. The film cuts to Elizabeth sitting in a deckchair and Sir James pretending to tip her out of it.
The film cuts to an archway leading into the city of Palma. A poster for the ‘Grand Hotel’ is fixed to a wall. General views along a city street and a building across the road with a clock built into the wall. A woman with two small children crosses the road passing the camera.
The film cuts to views of the exterior of Palma Cathedral. Outside the entrance, crowds of people walk past. Two men in uniform stand on the steps and in the doorway of a building.
On a country road two horse drawn wagons pass followed by two wagons being pulled by donkeys. They past a Rolls Royce parked nearby.
In a field stands a donkey attached to reins followed by a view of a knotted tree. Two men work the donkey that is now pulling a plough. On the road beside the field is a parked Rolls Royce, two young women in bonnets pose for the camera.
Outside a large house beside a road is a wagon with a small group of local people standing around it. The livery on the side of the wagon reads ‘Gafes Debray’. A view of the donkey attached to the wagon is followed by a woman walking along the road towards a village in the near distance. In a field next to the road a drove of pigs eat windfall from nearby fruit trees.

The film cuts back to the Princess and Sir James Knott, now in a thick coat and sailor’s hat, poses for the camera. [Dark] The film cuts to show either neon lights on buildings filmed at night or views inside a darkened church.
General view of pigs eating in a field. The film cuts show a cruise ship with three smoke stacks moored in the harbour. The camera pans right to a group of local men resting on the ground near some small fishing boats. Four young girls play nearby.
Views of trees in a sandy bay and seawater lapping against a shoreline follow next with views along the coastline. Views of fruit trees cut to two young girls. One of the girls holds a goat while the other stands in the doorway of a garden or yard. An old woman comes out to speak with the girls. A man and three women have a picnic on a sandy bank. General view of the surrounding landscape.
A man loads a wagon with stones beside the Monastery of San Salvador de Ona. A bell rings from a tower inside the monastery and the film cuts to general views looking around the surrounding landscape and the winding road leading away. On a small promontory off the road is a large cross. Below on the road the man seen previously is still loading stones into the back of the wagon.
Outside the monastery a group of girls and women in black sit on a wall or play. Two girls are skipping together with a rope.
The film cuts to show a road sign that point to Palma in one direction and Soller in the other. The film ends on a view of a knotted tree in a field.
