The camp was situated at the base of Skiddaw and was attended by around 1200 Scouts from across the globe. The film opens on a group of boys and a girl sitting on the bank of a hill eating. General views of the group descending a rocky slope and walk along a craggy path; possibly Shape Edge leading to Blencathra. The film cuts to a campsite where a boy is cooking food on a camp fire. The film cuts to another boy chopping wood. Three uniformed Scouts stand together;  a badge sown onto one of the shirts reads “Cumberland & Westmorland Jamboree”. A group of boys walk along the craggy edge. A general view shows five tents pitched in a field. Two boys row a boat containing four others on a lake, possibly Derwent Water. The film cuts to show a boy chopping wood. A man stands by a fast flowing river. The film cuts to show the sea crashing onto a craggy shoreline. The film ends with a man walking through sand dunes towards the camera.
