Inside are a number of parked single and double decker buses. A single decker bus leaves the depot with a single passenger. At a bus stop a queue of people board the bus. A single decker bus travels up Silver Street towards Durham Market Place. Pedestrians stand along Sadler Street as a lorry drives past. There is a close up of a traffic light. The camera pulls back to show a bus driving past. A man leads a horse and cart along the road. A sign on the back of his cart reads: "T. Wilson - Brandon". The No. 77 double decker bus to Sunderland drives along a busy road towards and then past the camera. It pulls into a bus stop where a passenger gets off the bus. The camera focuses in on a sign on the back of the bus that reads: "Relax by Bus". A double decker followed by a single decker bus drive past the Britannia Assurance Ltd building and turn into a terraced street. The Durham Railway Viaduct can be seen in the background. The two buses drive into the depot. General view looking down the aisle of empty single decker bus. A man with a hose climbs onto the bus. Cigarette butts and match boxes lie on the ground in front of the bus door. A workman fills the bus with fuel. A double decker bus drives through a wash. Two men stand beside a clocking in machine. On the wall beside them are many employee cards. The film ends inside an office where two women count fares.
