The sequence opens with an overhead view of the castle buildings and the streets nearby, probably taken from one of the castle's ramparts. Looking down on the central courtyard, a Coldstream guard paces up and down. General views show the castle and some ornamental lion statues.

Various shots follow of animals and birds in their enclosures at London Zoo. At the giraffe, enclosure there is a glimpse in the background of the recently opened aviary designed by Lord Snowdon.More shots follow of a variety of species at London Zoo including elephants, storks, polar bears, antelope, seals, and tigers. Children take a ride on a camel. Others travel in small carriages pulled by llamas.
Title: Hampton Court
A pleasure boat pulls a way from the bankside of the Thames. A nameplate on it reads, 'Alpha Rose Tour Cruise'. It follows another pleasure boat out into the middle of the river. A travelling shot shows the Houses of Parliament. General views follow of the passengers on the boat as it cruises along the river. There are travelling shots of other river craft and ducks on the Thames at Hampton Court. A man paints the underside of a small boat on the bankside. Exterior views of Hampton Court show the architecture and statues in the gardens.
Title: On to Richmond
The pleasure boat continues along the Thames to Richmond, along with other pleasure boats, enetreing a lock. A young woman dressed in a bikini top and flared trousers moors her boat at a quayside. The lock gates open, the woman in the bikini top and her partner sail past in the pleasure boat. Three rowing boats, each with a six man crew, pass by.

Various general views show the fountains in Trafalgar Square, in the background the National Gallery. Around Nelson's column, tourists feed the pigeons.

Tourists look around a model village. Views of large scale electric garden model railway, which meanders its way in and around flower beds.

People perch on the Victoria Memorial in front of the Buckingham Palace gates for a vantage point. One man, holding binoculars, tries to get a better view of the changing of the guard ceremony.
Title: Rehearsal - Trooping the Colour
General views show the ceremony of the changing of the guards and of trooping the Colour on Horse Guards Parade in Whitehall.
The film cuts to a sign for The Derry Gardens [Derry and Toms department store, which became Biba] outlining it's history. People walk around the colourful Spanish themed garden with flowers in full bloom.
