Title: Lugano
Various views shows the city of Lugano on the shores of the lake, with its lakeside apartments and other attractive buildings, and small boats moored at the lakeside. A man films with a cine camera. A circular pool has a sculpture in the centre of it, in the background a backdrop of majestic mountains. The man with the camera and walking stick appears next to a spectacular fountain.
Keen swimmers dive into the lake from a diving board on the lake shore.

Travelling shots of the landscape from the lake, including a view of a villa built on precarious mountain outcrop, lakeside houses and hotels. Passengers on board a boat, named the Ceresio, are shown as it makes its way to the lakeside. Onshore, the man with the camera seen earlier is with a companion. Another boat, similar to the Ceresio, the Milano, makes its way across the lake.

A group of women in swimsuits are at a summit marker taking pictures. Various shots follow of tourists including the man with the camera and his companion at the mountain peak. A group of men and women picnic on the grass on the mountain summit, the two of the men in the film-maker's group browsing at a tourist stall.

Travelling shots of the small village of Gandria from Lake Lugano, located at the foot of Monte Brè.
Passngers at the lakeside board a boat. On land the exterior of a a small building have paintings hung on its walls, for an outdoor art exhibtion. A small tourist boat flying a Swiss flag makes its way across the lake. General views show a lakeside house covered in a display of flowering plants

Travelling shots from a cable car on mountain. Views from the mountain café parasols whcih cover the tables get blown in a strong wind. of the bay of Lugano and the Pennine and Bernese Alps.
Title: Zermatt
A travelling view from a railway carriage opens the film. General views within the town of Zermatt show a banner placed across a road which reads 'Willkommen'. A horse drawn taxi whisks away holidaymakers and their luggage. A variety of flags fly from a row of flagpoles.
Some tourists play tennis on a court. A tourist, one of the companions of the man featured earlier, browses postcards on a stand on the pavement. Two young women climb around a rocky mountain stream.
Title: A view of the peaks around Zermatt
Panoramic shots of snow clad mountain peaks, including the famous Matterhorn. Tourists look around the mountain summit slopes, with clouds below them. A general view follows of a cable car crossing the mountain terrain. Various shots of tourists at a viewing terrace, waving at a cable car. A portrait shot follows of two girls (twins?) in identical dresses, wearing conical straw sunhats. Travelling shots of the mountains.
Close-up of panama style hats dropped one on top of each other. The film shows a banner across a road, presumably leaving Zermatt which reads 'Auf Wiedersehn'. The film ends with travelling views of the Matterhorn from a cliff railway
