An amateur film, believed to be the work of Alice Littlefield, made between 1933 and 1934 showing four weddings and a baptism taking place at various locations around Tyne and Wear.
The film begins with various wedding guests arriving at a church. The bride and her father arrive and walk through the churchyard.
The married couple greet guests at the entrance of a large marquee. General view of a man and two of the bridesmaids who are adjusting the bridal gown and train.

The bride and groom, along with their families, pose beside an ivy covered wall in a garden. There are various views of men in morning suits and women in long dresses. A man, possibly the bride’s father, smokes a cigarette. A large car (Reg: FT 2717) drives away, possibly along Front Street in Tynemouth.

The bride and groom emerge from the church and pose for the camera before walking out through the churchyard. They are followed out of the church by the bridesmaids and other guests.
Guests stand around outside a large marquee in a garden. The bride, holding a small dog, stands by the entrance to the marquee. A small girl is then seen holding a dog.
Title: We all think confetti a necessary evil, and were therefore pleased to see the happy couple given a quiet but affectionate farewell.
As the bride and groom walk through a doorway a large crowd throws confetti at them. A large car drives away with two men hanging from the side.

The film changes to show a woman opening an envelope revealing an invitation which she shows to the camera.
The groom and best man, both wearing morning suits, arrive at a church. Other guests arrive at the church. The bride and her father arrive and walk into the church. The church is surrounded by houses and a small crowd are watching the proceedings. A policeman stands guard at the church gate.
The bride and groom come out of the church and pose for the camera, their families behind them.
At the reception in the garden of a large house, the bride and groom and various guests pose for the camera.

The film shows a small baby wrapped in white woollen blankets. The group walk out of the church after the baptism. A man plays with two young boys out in the road. A car travels along a road.
The young couple are then pictured in the garden of a large house, the woman holding the baby. Various people take turns holding the baby. The film ends with a large cake being cut.
