The film features Linda playing with several children on a caravan site as well as looking after her baby sister. The family are also seen firstly outside their home believed to be at Chester-le-Street and later in Glasgow where Linda is riding an elaborate tricycle. Beside a caravan Linda Smith poses with an older boy, nearby her baby sister Lorraine is asleep in her pram. Beside the family car parked on a road verge Molly sleeps on a blanket, her youngest daughter Lorraine sleeps in her pram nearby. Stan and Linda sit together on the blanket, they get up to leave. Linda helps with her sister Lorraine after a bath by putting on talcum powder, Lorraine smiles happily as Molly gently tosses her in the air. Outside the families semi-detached home, the extended Smith family get ready to depart for Lorraine’s christening in cars parked in the road. In a garden a Scotty dog plays with two small kittens. Linda picks the kittens up, she poses beside her mother, sister and boy who all wave. Linda dancing in her new dancing shoes changes to Lorraine sitting up in her pram. Molly helps Lorraine attempt to talk along a garden path. At the Strawberry Fields caravan park Linda and a young boy go inside a playhouse set up next to a caravan, Molly holding Lorraine appears in the caravan doorway. The playhouse is moved, the family sit relaxing on a blanket nearby. Sitting atop a pony Linda is lead around an enclosure by a young man. She leads the pony around the enclosure herself. In the street outside the family home in Glasgow Linda rides past on a tricycle. [Dark] A group of older people appear in the street and get into a car watched by Linda and a boy riding a peddle car. In a car park possibly of hotel Molly feds Lorraine from a bottle watched over by an older couple, possibly her parents. The older woman wipes away the tears from a crying Linda. [Out of focus] Linda watches as her sister continues to be fed. In a garden a group of older people sit on benches. Back at the caravan site Linda stands with an older girl. Molly waves at the camera and the film ends on Lorraine in her pram.
